Prestige Mobile Valeting Services' switch to Miracle Drywash featured in the Dorset Echo

Car valeter uses much less water

LET'S face it - we could all do with using less water.

According to Waterwise, the leading authority on water efficiency in the UK, there is an underlying water resource problem in this country and the effects of climate change means that rainfall will be more intense, leading to more droughts and floods.

We all use on average 150 litres a day so it is essential that we all reduce the amount of water we waste.

Someone who is helping that is car valeter Paul Fairless of Crossways who is using a waterless product for his business.

"It's amazing because a 500ml bottle will save a ton of water," said Paul who is the only person in the area distributing Miracle Dry Wash.

The product is eco-friendly as well because it contains no detergents.

Paul, who runs Prestige Mobile Valeting Services, said: "I think it must have been designed for the desert.

"I had been looking for a waterless product because I was conscious how much water I was getting through.

"I still use some water because you need it for really grubby wheels but it's nowhere near as much as I used to get through.

"As well as using it for valeting I can distribute it as well. Customers are impressed because they know it's better for the environment."

Saturday, 19th July 2008, around noon, in Hyde Park: 200 cars, with a maximum engine size of 1000cc, are about to set off on their epic 10,000-mile journey through 15 countries - from London to Mongolia- all for charity. And SJ is there to wish the teams well (some in fancy dress!), see them off and arm them with a supply of Miracle Drywash for their approx 4-week trip.

Miracle Drywash will come in handy for them when they want to clean their car wherever they are, without a hosepipe in site. No wasted water (each bottle saves 1 ton) and no polluted run-off going down the drain into rivers.

Autoglass & Miracle Drywash sponsor the Doncaster Knights Under 8’s

Autoglass and Miracle Drywash are joint sponsors of the Doncaster Knights Under 8’s for the 2008/9 rugby season

The team played in 3 tournaments in the Yorkshire Rugby League last season, winning one, sharing another and narrowly missing out in their home competition. They suffered only a couple of defeats all season

Every Player was presented with an award for their outstanding
efforts in their first full season together

Ben (or BJ as his team mates call him) made the most appearances, never missing a game, and top scored with 111 tries. Henry, the vice captain, was only a few behind. The Under 8’s has provided mascots for the first team, and travelled all over Yorkshire to play last season.

Ben being presented with his Players Player
of the Season
award by Ngalu Ta’u

Ben was awarded Players Player of the Season, as voted by his team mates (not bad for the captain to be so popular !!) by Ngalu Ta’u, Doncaster Knights’ First team prop from Tonga.
