R & J Mobile Valeting uses Miracle Drywash

John Johnson received a flyer about the waterless car cleaning product, Miracle Drywash, in the post about 6 months ago. So he asked for a sample and tried it - on his wife's car! - and he liked the result, so much so that John now uses Miracle Drywash in his Gatwick Park & Ride valeting service (on the Charlwood Road, Lowfield Heath, Crawley) called R & J Mobile Valeting, for his top valets.

John set up the company in 2003.

Xmas gift for the person who has everything

Miracle Drywash is the perfect Christmas present!

  • It's a green product because it saves water (each bottle saves 1 ton of water) and it prevents run-off water pollution where detergent enters our river systems as a result of the traditional 'bucket and sponge' method
  • It's different, it's original, it's a conversation starter
  • It's cheaper than drive-through car washes (especially if given as a present!) and much better for your car too
  • It saves time as it cleans AND polishes simultaneously and there's no messing around with buckets, hose pipes (if not banned), sponges and wellington boots
  • It can be used in direct sunlight (well maybe it's a present for someone who lives down under!)
  • You don't get drenched using it
  • It's great on glass (makes the windows shine!)
  • It's just the right price for a present: £14.67 for the Car Cleaning Kit (less the winter discount of £2.50 if you type 'winter' into the discount code box when ordering).
Go on - put it in someone's Christmas stocking today. You can order it online here:

Exclusive: outtake of ITV's Pulling Power

Miracle Drywash almost gets on Pulling Power

A still from the last series of ITV's Pulling Power. Left to right:
Ed China, a bottle of Miracle Drywash and Mike Brewer.

Miracle Drywash is fast becoming the cleaning product of choice for producers of car TV shows - namely, Top Gayer and Pulling Power (Jeremy, you only have to ask...). We know that both shows used Miracle Drywash to prepare cars for filming:

‘I couldn’t believe the results, we recently used Miracle Drywash on our event cars at a big show. The speed we were able to get the cars that had traveled 50 miles in bad weather to a showroom shine was amazing, with no worry of ruining our Red Carpet with dirty water! Love it.’

Rich Tuckwell
Editor in Chief - Top Gayer

We have been using Miracle Drywash for a few months now and we have found it a really practical way for us to keep our fleet clean while on a shoot. Most places we find ourselves in do not have access to water, and when we do have access, it’s a messy business mucking about with buckets and sponges. Miracle Drywash is so handy in that respect and it really cleans the cars well – and waxes them too in one go! It also feels good that we are not polluting the environment whilst saving water at the same time.

We thoroughly recommend Miracle Drywash!

Joe Asher
X2P – producers of TV motoring show “Pulling Power”

In fact everyone on Pulling Power liked Miracle Drywash so much, they even filmed a piece showing the presenters, Mike Brewer and Ed China, raving about the product and using it on two motorbikes. The clip, unfortunately, never made it to the actual broadcast for 'technical' reasons, but we have got hold of the outtake, and here it is:

Miracle Drywash gets superb review in Gay Times

Rich Tuckwell's review of Miracle Drywash in the November 2008 issue of Gay Times.

When something ‘Eco’ drops on my desk, a morbid curiosity forces me to try it. Mostly so I can smugly sit back and say ‘told you it wouldn’t work’. So, as sure as Amy Winehouses rehab clinic knows she’ll be back, ‘Miracle Dry Wash’, the ‘Eco Car Wash’, was delivered. I immediately set about proving it wouldn’t work.

SJK products, who make ‘Miracle Dry Wash’, know their facts when it comes to getting motors shinier than Bree Van De Camps silverware. They know it takes about 170 litres of water to wash a car, and that every wash your sending harmful suds into our rivers.

So what does it do? It’s a chemical carwash is the easiest way of describing it. The whole kit and caboodle comes in a recycled box no bigger than a mobile phone box. The kit contains a 500ml bottle of ‘Miracle Dry Wash’, two cloths and a pair of gloves. Using it is simple, put gloves on, shake bottle, spray car with fine mist from bottle, one cloth to rub it on, other to polish off. According to the box, it will remove all dirt and grime leaving your car shiny clean, it’ll also make rain bead off and even after a heavy shower should remain spot free. Hmmm…

Out to the drive I go, gloved up bottle in hand, waiting there for me is a muddy Freelander recently used off-road. Twenty minutes later and I was stood looking at a very shiny 4x4, cleaner (I believe) than if I’d taken it to the car wash, and much quicker than if I’d hand washed and polished it. On this occasion I’m forced to admit that not only does it work, it’s jaw-droppingly good. I absolutely love it, so much that Top Gayer will be using it for our entire car washing needs from now on. To order go to, £15’s worth should last up to 7 ‘washes’. - Rich Tuckwell.

This article will also appear in the magazines Queer Street (Cardiff - very likely read by Daffyd - The only gay in the village!), Queer Scotland and Pride Life Online. A piece on Miracle Drywash may also appear in an episode of Top Gayer - watch this space!

And here's what Rich had to say about Miracle Drywash:

‘I couldn’t believe the results, we recently used Miracle Dry Wash on our event cars at a big show. The speed we were able to get the cars that had traveled 50 miles in bad weather to a showroom shine was amazing, with no worry of ruining our Red Carpet with dirty water! Love it.’ - Rich Tuckwell

Autoglass charity carwash raises £500

£500 raised for Keech Cottage children's hospice, 31 cars cleaned and 4.65 tons of water saved!

Miracle carwashers: Shaun (front) with (left to right) Ian, Martin and SJ

Last Friday (5 Sept 2008), at their Cardington, Bedfordshire head office, Autoglass held a charity carwash in aid of Keech Cottage, the children's hospice. Keech Cottage is the company's chosen charity and this was one of many fund-raising events in the Autoglass calendar.

It was a charity carwash with a difference, however, because not a drop of water was used to wash the approx 30 cars. Instead, they used Miracle Drywash! Mark Howe, Autoglass Central Support Manager takes up the story (click the Play > button below):(Video not playing? Click here for low-res alternative: )
