Doncaster Knights Under 8’s Update

Together we did!!

Sunday saw the visit of Paviors to Castle Park, determined to overturn their defeat in the rain from October. But the Miracle Drywash and Autoglass®-sponsored side were determined if nothing else, and they defended solidly all day, with the TAGmaster Connor Gilmore earning Player of the Day for his efforts.

Despite the ‘physical’ nature of this non-contact encounter, the Knights stuck to their task and, following a draw in the first outing, worked hard to win by a couple of tries in their second game.

The joy on everyone’s faces was clear to see, but Paviors determination saw them ask for a third game and one more chance to take their revenge. With both teams tiring, a very scrappy game ensued with the away team edging it by one point. Now everyone could go home happy!!

It was a great day for the team, with everyone getting a chance to run with the ball in hand, and some new names appearing on the score sheet, which led to Oliver Cunnigham earning the respect of his team as the winner of the coveted Most Effort Award.

Well done everyone – Bring on Harrogate next week.

Under 8’s announce end of season tour

This weekend the Miracle Drywash and Autoglass®-sponsored Doncaster Knights under 8’s confirmed plans for their first ever tour, where they will put their skills to the test at the Scarborough International Festival in April 09.

There are 10 families heading for a weekend of holiday park fun with some rugby scattered in between, and they will be working hard over the coming weeks to raise some money for transport and on-tour refreshments !!

Back to Winning Ways !

The Doncaster Knights' winning run

A lengthy lay off over the crisp mornings of the Christmas period hasn’t stopped the Doncaster Knights' winning run. Sunday 11th January saw a tough trip to Castleford, where the boys showed some of the great passing skill they had been working on in training to earn two very tough and very muddy wins. This earned them the chance to be the first official game played in front of the new stand at their home ground – Castle Park; and despite most people preferring to stay in the warm of the bar, the boys were determined to do what they do best – ENJOY THEMSELVES.

They were faced with an enthusiastic Goole team, with the very vocal support of their coaches and supporters, but even changing the entire team at half time didn’t disrupt the flow and led, as always, by captain BJ Howe with great support from the entire the team, but especially from player of the day, Aaron Donald, and the hardest worker of them all, Ben Rivers.

They fought out a tough draw and then two hard-earned victories.

The run continues for the Miracle Drywash-backed team !!

Russian Distributor Appointed

The latest international distributor to be appointed for Miracle Drywash is:

Kortina Ltd.,
Kapranova Per. 3
Building 34
Office 34
Moscow
123242
Russia

Mike Winn of Kortina Ltd:

"We face the forthcoming economic crisis with confidence and enthusiasm. In addition to its many other sterling qualities, Miracle Drywash can be marketed as a 'recession' product i.e. whereas a standard, water-based car wash here can cost around £4-6, MDW can clean a car for around £2.5-3. Every car in Russia is dirty, so that's our starting point. MDW is the best way to address that situation."

Miracle Drywash featured in Brownbook.net press release

Miracle Drywash has lucked out!

A link to SJK Product's listing in Brownbook - the cool new wiki-like business directory that anybody can edit - has found its way into one of Brownbook's press releases as a good example of an enhanced customized listing: http://www.sharenow.com/blog/post/3860/

I was convinced it was also featured in Brownbook's help pages somewhere too but now cannot, for the life of me, find it! If you happen to find it, please leave a link to it on the comments page.

Miracle Drywash featured in QS Magazine

It’s a car wash Jim, but not as we know it!

When something ‘Eco’ drops on my desk, a morbid curiosity forces me to try it. Mostly so I can smugly sit back and say ‘told you it wouldn’t work’. So, as sure as Austin Drage’s manager knows he’ll be out of a job by January, ‘Miracle Dry Wash’, the ‘Eco Car Wash’, was delivered. I immediately set about proving it wouldn’t work.

SJK products, who make ‘Miracle Dry Wash’, know their facts when it comes to getting motors cleaner than Andrew Van De Camps teeth (can anyone say bleached between season 3 & 4 lol). They know it takes about 170 litres of water to wash a car, and that every wash your sending
harmful suds into our rivers.

So what does it do? It’s a chemical carwash is the easiest way of describing it. The whole kit and caboodle comes in a recycled box no bigger than a mobile phone box. The kit contains a 500ml bottle of ‘Miracle Dry Wash’, two cloths and a pair of gloves. Using it is simple, put gloves on, shake bottle, spray car with fine mist from bottle, one cloth to rub it on, other to polish off.

According to the box, it will remove all dirt and grime leaving your car shiny clean, it’ll also make rain bead off and even after a heavy shower should remain spot free. Hmmm… Out to the drive I go, gloved up bottle in hand, waiting there for me is a muddy Freelander recently used off-road. Twenty minutes later and I was stood looking at a very shiny 4x4, cleaner (I believe) than if I’d taken it to the car wash, and much quicker than if I’d hand washed and polished it.

However this wasn’t enough for me, recently we previewed the all new KA in Bristol, so having driven it 50 miles up the motorway in bad weather it looked a state. Parked up on the red carpet two of us set about cleaning it with Miracle Dry Wash, 5 mins (I kid you not!) and it was worthy of any car showroom. On this occasion (and in the face of overwhelming proof) I’m forced to admit that not only does it work, it’s jaw-droppingly good. I absolutely love it, so much that Top Gayer will be using it for our entire car washing needs from now on.

To order go to www.miracledrywash.com, £15’s worth should last up to 7 ‘washes’.

READER OFFER: Top Gayer have spoken to the lovely SJ of SJK products and they will give our readers £3 off their first order, simply quote ‘TG’ when you order online or on the phone to get the discount.
